For this fun Christmas card, I used the Paper Dolls Dress Up Cricut cartridge. This great cartridge is definitely a must have! This cartridge features people dressed up for Holidays and other events, such as Halloween, Christmas, in Western wear and so many more, along with a lot of accessories that come with each of them for example with Santa, you can cut out a sleigh, Santa’s bag, A Christmas tree and so much more. If you already have this cartridge and love it as much as I do there are a couple other similar cartridges by Cricut that have people you can cut out and dress up is, Everyday Paper Dolls, and Create a Friend, and Paper Dolls Teen Scene.
Christmas Card Made with Paper Doll Dress Up
For this Cricut Christmas card the overall size of the card is 5 x 7 and Santa’s cloths are cutout at 1” using the real dial size (so that everything is one inch high) While you wouldn’t want to use the real dial size if you are using it to dress up people or for an image that has multiple layers, because they won’t fit together properly. But these cute Santa clothes don’t have multiple cardstock layers, it works just fine. Because these images don’t have multiple layers and I wanted then to be red and white, I did have to cut them out twice once for red and once for white and then trimmed them out where the machine cuts the lines in the outfit so that you can layer them. This is an easy way to add extra layers to your cuts if you don’t want them to be just one color, without adding a lot of extra work.
