Today is Friday the 13th, so what better way to celebrate than by sharing my projects made with the Cricut A Frightful Affair cartridge? Invite your friends over for scary movie night, and make it official with a themed invitation using this spooky Cricut cartridge.

RIP Card

Well, this one is a little morose, but I made this card with a focus on the background paper. I think it turned out awesome. This is made from We R Memory Keepers paper, the Black Widow collection.

The overall size of the card is 5 x 6 inches (not a standard size) and the RIP cat was cut out at 3.5 inches, including the headstone, the two cats, and the moon. The bats are cut out using A Frightful Affair, the two smaller ones are 1 inch and the larger one is 1.5 inches.cricut card scare up some fun made with a frightful affair

Scare Up Some Fun Card

Halloween may not be for another 10 months, but I find myself planning for it year-round. I love the fall time with all the beautiful colors, and I really like scarecrows even though some of them creep me out.

The overall size of this is card is a standard 4 x 6 inches or the A2 Card. The scarecrow is cut out with Cricut A Frightful Affair at 5 inches. Then tied with a little bit of ribbon, ( to make him less creepy)

The paper is from DCWV’s Midnight Spell collection.

Smile You Trickster Card

He almost looks like the Hamburglar. I used A Frightful Affair and cut the Burglar out at 3 inches. The overall size of the card is 5 x 5 inches and the white border is 4.5 x 4.5 inches. Finally, the black square is 4 x 3.5 inches. This one is pretty straightforward so I will leave it a that.

Monster mash card made with cricut a frightful affairDo you have a Halloween party? If you do this is the layout for you! This Cricut layout was cut out using A Frightful Affair Cartridge. All of the Characters (the mummy, Elvira, Frankenstein, the Skeleton and the Zombie) are cut out at 5 inches. Tip: if you’re cutting out multiple images from this cartridge it’s really easy to do them all out at the same time since most of them are the same colors (black, white, and red).

The fence was cut out at 3.75 inches so that it fits across the whole 12 x 12 sheet, on a grey sheet of Cor’dination’s paper, which I then sanded to give it the old look.

“Monster” was cut out at 1.25 inches. It’s one of the fun phrases on this cartridge. “Mash” was cut out using the font on this cartridge that looks like a knife has sliced through it at 1.75 inches.

The paper is also from the We R Memory Keepers from the Black Widow collection. What do you think? Would you put this layout in your scrapbook?

Happy Halloween Home Decor

goth girl home decor made with a frightful affair cricut cartridgeFor this Halloween Wall Hanging, we used A Frightful Affair and Flower Shoppe cartridge.  We got a 12 x 12 picture frame and framed this fun layout.

The “Happy Halloween” is cut out at 4 inches from A Frightful Affair and the three flowers are cut out from Flower Shoppe at 4 inches (the big one) and 3 inches (the two smaller ones), using the heart flower.

The self-adhesive crystals are from gems. I love these, they make it so easy to add some beautiful decorative bling to any project.

And once again, the paper is from We R Memory Keepers Black Widow paper collection.

Hopefully, none of this was too spooky for you and you will get a good night’s sleep. Remember to share with us your Cricut A Frightful Affair projects and ideas so that we can share them with others on our blog and inspire. Save on the best Cricut cartridges.

Happy creating!
