The new Simple Stories sports collection kits are perfect if you are trying to create a scrapbook layout for your favorite little athlete! Simple Stories is well known for offering scrapbookers the best kinds of solutions. There is a collection kit for just about every sport and they make it super easy to throw together quick projects.
Sports-Themed Layout Projects
I used different colors of Premium Cardstock by Core’dinations to add photo boards and an occasional die cut, but for the most part, everything (the stickers and cardstock) came from the collection kits. Baseball and Softball
The above image is a design made from the Baseball Collection Kit. Each set comes with 6 sheets of patterned cardstock. Obviously, I only used 2 of them. Four more 12″ x 12″ pages can be made, or you can cut them up to make photo pockets and other additions.
Next, we have the Softball Collection Kit, which will perfectly showcase your photo memories of your star of the sandlot. One of my favorite things about these collections is the stats cards. I don’t want to spend a lot of time journaling on these pages, and this is a great solution for keeping it short and sweet. Include all the important details for the season, including several team names, jersey numbers, etc.
Cheerleading is a sport! We have this awesome kit for the real stars of the show, the cheerleaders. I love the bright and bold colors paired with black, and you will love the patterns that make up the Cheer Collection Kit.
Football and Basketball!
Are you ready for some Football? Maybe the most popular sport in the US, cracking pads, is how boys become men. The Football Collection Kit will help you celebrate your star of the gridiron. I recommend you customize the colors to match your team. The football die cuts are from the Sports Mania Cricut cartridge. Another great cartridge you could use with any of these collection kits is the Team Spirit Cricut cartridge.
If your all-star prefers to shoot hoops, you will love the Basketball Collection Kit.
Soccer and Volleyball
This next one is for all you soccer moms out there. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have much free time for scrapbooking because my kids are in sports. The Soccer Collection Kit takes care of that problem. The Soccer phrase with the soccer ball image is cut from a Silhouette store design, called “Soccer”. Last but not least, we have a Volleyball Collection Kit. This is honestly my favorite set from the entire Sports collection because I love the colors so much. It’s too bad that my boys don’t play volleyball.
