If you remember, we introduced the Mint stamping system on our blog a few months back. Well, you will be glad to know that the machines have arrived! We are very excited. We’ve never carried much in terms of stamping supplies, but this machine is a game-changer.

This video, courtesy of Silhouette America, explains the system, the products, and then shows you how quick and easy it is to set up your machine. They also cover all the bells and whistles you get with the various features. Lastly, they demonstrate how to affix the stamp design to the stamp base.

As you can see it’s a pretty complicated system with lots of moving parts, but your role in the matter is rather simple. Just choose the design you want and let the machine do all the hard work.

How Does the Mint Stamp Making Machine Work?

The Silhouette stamper works using a process called thermal printing which will allow you to create 3D effects in your custom stamp designs. Also known as direct thermal printing, as a digital printing process, the printed image is produced by heating thermochromic paper.
