Monogram Motifs Cricut Cartridge Ideas

By Richelle Naegle

Monograms seem to be huge right now! Maybe they have always been and I’m just catching on, but Cricut is doing their part this year to make sure you have plenty of options for beautiful monograms after you check out the new Monogram Motifs Cricut cartridge be sure to check out Anna’s Decorative Monograms for a few more choices.

This cartridge has three fun new Monogram styles to choose from, and if you have the Cricut Explore cutter, it has a bonus drawing monogram on it. I really am loving the drawing feature and the ability to make cards with this feature. Check out the first card I made, to the right:

N Card

Have you heard of coloring books for adults? They are these awesome coloring books that have fine, intricate pictures that you can color. It is said to release stress. I have two of them and they do definitely help. You can order them off Amazon, but before you go and do that, why not make your own image to color? Use your Explore to draw the image and then you can color it. You will accomplish two things. You can get rid of back to school stress, and create a fun card for someone you love.

OK, so back to the first card which measures 5″ x “5 and the N was drawn at 3.5″ (and layered with squares). I would probably do it on white paper if you were planning on coloring it, though let your creativity be your own guide. Either way, I think it makes for a very lovely, yet simple card (pro tip: try it on a layout).

K Card

I layered it with different colors of blue and you can be the judge of how well that worked out. I like it! This letter has 4 layers and was cut out at 4″ on a 4″ x 4″ card.

Be sure to look through all of our Cricut Font cartridges. I hope you will share your own Monogram Motifs Cricut cartridge. Ideas and projects. I love to see what everyone else is creating.
