Have you had a chance to check out the new Stitch Happy sewing system? It’s the latest innovation from We R Memory Keepers. This fun new invention is a multi media machine, which means that it’s made to sew a variety of materials such as paper, chipboard, mixed media, and more.

If you would like to sew paper projects, then this is the machine for you. The problem with cardstock is that it dulls regular needles, which is why you don’t want to use a regular sewing machine with paper. Stitch Happy uses needles intended for this very purpose. It even offers a large needle for heavier threads like baker’s twine.

Another great thing about Stitch Happy is that you can use it with tough materials, like leather.

How to Use Stitch Happy

Stitch Happy works just like a sewing machine. Here is a quick video We R Memory Keepers made to show you how quick and easy it is to set it up.

Setting up this machine reminds me a lot of learning on a regular sewing machine when I was in 7th grade. If you already know how to sew, you can probably skip that video. It’s like riding a bike. If you’ve done it before, you most likely will never have to re-learn.

Stitch Happy Machines & Accessories

You can either get the Mint Stitch Happy or if you are like me, you will probably go with the Pink Stitch Happy. The mint one will perfectly match with the Mint Typecast machine, if you have that, and both of them will look great on display in the study. The machine has a pull-out storage drawer in the base, making it easy to store your thread, extra needles, bobbins, and accessories with the machine. Each machine comes with a foot pedal, two needles, one needle threader, a cleaning brush, and power adapter.

There are extra accessories that you can purchase, like the Stich Happy machine cover, a pressure-sensitive foot pedal (we highly recommend this one), needles, scissors, the Stitch Happy tool kit. Don’t forget about thread: baker’s twine, metallic thread, as well as a variety of colored threads.
