Cricut Ribbons and Rosettes Projects

by Richelle Naegle

Today I am sharing with you the various Cricut Ribbons and Rosettes projects I have come up with over the past couple of years. This is one of my very favorite classic cartridges, in large part due to its versatility. I encourage you to put on your creative cap and let’s see what you can come up with.

Princess Birthday Card

princess card made by cricut ribbons and rosettesThis little girl birthday card was created also using the Once Upon A Princess Cricut cartridge. The overall size of the card is 5 x 7 inches. The princess was cut out at 4.5” and the castle at 3.5”. The grass is from the Ribbons & Rosettes Cartridge at 4.5” using the 2 x 3 / 2 x 6 border feature. I did cut a quite a bit of the bottom off. The clouds are from Create a Critter cartridge at 2” , 1.5” & 1”

“Happy Birthday” on the front is cut out from Once Upon A Princess at 2”.  Such a fun cartridge to make cards with and there are plenty of other projects for little girls using these delightful cartridges by the amazing designers at Cricut.

Seasons Greetings Card

This card was made with 2 cartridges: the Cricut Sesame Street Seasons for the snowflakes and the rosette is from Ribbons and Rosettes.

seasons greetings card made with ribbons and rosetteThe overall size of the card is 5 x 5 inches. I cut out 2 snow flakes at 4” and one at 3”. The rosette is cut out at 1” with 5 segments all from a very glittery paper. I love how this card turned out.

Thinking of You Card

Thinking of you card made with ribbons and rosettes cartridgeI made this card for a good friend of mine that is fighting Breast Cancer right now, she is so young and fighting so hard, she is such an inspiration to me. This card was made using the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge Designer’s Calendar.

The overall size of the craft cardstock base is 4 x 6 inches. The rosette is cut out at 1.5″ with 6 segments and the Pink ribbon is cut out at 2″.

So let’s see your cards, show us what you have made for a family member or friend that is or has battled Breast Cancer. Share them with us on our Facebook page. Save on Cricut paper, as well as Cricut machines.
