Various Greeting Cards

This fun card was created using the Anna Griffin Flower Bramble cutting and embossing folder for the background, and the Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridge for the flowers.

The overall size of the card is 5 x 7 inches so that it fits the cut and emboss cut.  Each of the flowers was cut out at 2 inches for the largest petals and 1 inch for the smallest in 0.25” increments.

I used a little bit of water on each of the flower petals and then crumbled them up to give them a little more dimension and texture.

The flower was cut out at 3” for the largest petal and decreased in size by 0.25” and the smallest petal is 1.5”.

The center was cut out at 2” and I used a Megan Elizabeth Sparkle Lightz in the center of the flower.

To create the background of the card I inked up an embossing folder and then embossed a white sheet of paper. Makes it look like a very custom paper, but it is super easy to create.

For this super easy card I used the Extreme Fonts cartridge and Flower Shoppe cartridge. The size of this card is  4″ x 6″, and the thanks is cut out at 0.75″ with the shadow feature using the Junior font from this cartridge.

The flower was cut out from 1.5″ for the smallest petals and 2.5″ for the outer petals. The center was cut out at 1″ and then used a Girls Best Friend Sparkle Light in the center.

On the edges of the yellow flowers, I used brown ink to give them more of a sunflower look.

All Things Grow with Love

yellow flower card with flower shoppe cricutFor this beautiful card I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge and Accent Essentials, the overall size of the card is 6 x 6 the background scallop was cut out at 5″ and the flower was cut out at 2.5″.  All the flower petals were distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink. The leaves were cut out at 2.5″ and then I crumpled them up and distress them the Tim Holtz distress ink. The center of the flower is just a simple pearl bead.

The circle is 2″ you can use any cartridge that has a circle on it, and distressed with the Tim Holtz tea stain as well and then stamped with black ink.

The background paper is the Antique paper from Bazzill, I love this paper, it’s very thin but it’s so nice to work with. Then tied it with some orange ribbon and some raffia. Distressed the edges with the tea stain and rounded the corners with the We R Memory Keepers corner rounder (1/2″).
