Today, I made one of those Cricut cards that can be used for just about any occasion. I call it “that’ll do pig” for that reason. You could add “Thank you,” “Get well soon,” or “Just thinking of you”  sentiments.

This card was made with the Country Life Cricut cartridge. The pig and chicken are all in one image and were cut out at 4″.

I wanted the pig to be pink and the chicken to be a different hue, so I cut their top layer out twice. If you want to simplify it with one color, you should find a neutral option.

Card Details

The base of the card is from the Creative Cards Cricut cartridge, which was cut out at 5″. I really like this cartridge because it has some great base cards that offer the patterned scrapbook paper base as well as a layer. I generally cut two of the layers (one for the front and one for the inside). That adds a little bit of dimension and allows you to use double-sided paper, and you will still be able to write on your card.
