Don’t panic, but I’m 500 pictures behind on my scrapbooking projects – that’s only about two years’ worth! I just ordered a bunch of new pictures. Whenever I run out of room on my camera, I download and order the photographs. If I don’t order them, I will never remember which photographs I have physical copies of. It’s always good to have them on hand for scrapbook events. That way, you don’t have to pay a higher price to have them developed and shipped quickly.

Be sure to have fresh cutting mats on hand to always have precise cuts in your projects. We also carry all the supplies you need, like quality vinyl.

CHA 2016 – New Products from Sizzix

One of my favorite booths at CHA is always the Sizzix booth. They have larger booths with open spaces, share ideas and demonstrations, and allow you to speak with designers. We have so many new Sizzix products coming out this year that I will only worry about January and February in this blog post. We will have all these products available for pre-order a few weeks early (prior to release), so you can be among the first to grab ’em!

January Releases

In January, we have the Sizzix stamp sets coming in. There are 15 total, and most of them are shipping as I write! You can pre-order now, and as soon as they arrive, we will send them your way. You will love the new Sizzix dies.

Pictured to the right are a few ideas for fun projects you can make using these stamps. My favorite is the Aloha stamp set designed by Jen Long. I love how it all perfectly coordinates together. You can combine all the stamps in one project or use them individually. Jen is one of my favorite designers. I like the projects I have made with her dies (more of those will be released in March!).

It’s been a while since Cricut released a new cartridge, but they started out 2016 with a great new option. The All Occasion Box Card Cricut cartridge offers you wide application for a series of events.

I just moved, and my craft room isn’t in decent shape yet. Nevertheless, I pulled out my Explore system, grabbed some craft paper and glue, and got to work. Who wants to organize a room when there are new card designs to make? Unfortunately, this meant I didn’t have all my favorite patterned paper at my disposal, so I went with plain solids.

This is one of the easiest home decor solutions. Check out the Heidi Swapp Star Lanterns. These fun, starry decorations are not only inexpensive, but they are so easy to assemble.

They can be used with or without the lights. I should note, the lights come in blue, green, red, orange, and white. They are not included with the star lantern, so you can choose your own preferred color if you decide to light it up.
