I know it’s only January, but before you know it, Valentine’s Day will be here. I’m getting started a little early and the paper crafter inside of me is OK with that. Today, I made a scrapbook layout and a greeting card.

For the layout, I made a 12 x 12 design using designer cardstock. Normally, I don’t like to do just one picture alone for an entire scrapbook page, but in this case, I made an exception. We are going to capture our love with a group photo on this layout.
I used the Sweetheart Cricut Cartridge to make the balloon heart bouquet and this was a great opportunity to get rid of some leftover paper scraps. The idea of paper strings didn’t really appeal to me, so I used ribbon instead. I think it gives the page more depth, personally. The our love and the hearts shapes along the bottom come from the Love Photolights Rub Ons set. This layout is super easy and quick to make.
