Flourish Cards & Embellishments Cricut Cartridge Ideas

by Richelle Naeglecard made with Cricut Anna's Flourish Cards and Embellishments cartridge

As promised, I made a fun card using the new Anna’s Flourish Cards and Embellishments Cricut cartridge.

If you love to make cards, this cartridge is perfect for you! It has so many unique and creative options. The one great feature about this cartridge that I really like is the fact that you can create intricate detail and then add some fun coordinating embellishments to give your card a little more dimension (or just leave it the one layer and you still have a patterned cardstock card with interesting detail).

Anna’s Garden Cards & Embellishments Cartridge Ideas

by Richelle NaegleAnna Griffin Garden cards Cricut cartridge ideas

I don’t know about you, but I really love Anna Griffin’s designs. I love her artwork and what she draws. If you are a fan of Anna Griffin like me, then you will be super happy this month. Today, the first two Anna Griffin cartridges are being released this month, and both of these cartridges have some super beautiful images on them. Save on both cartridges with our exclusive Anna’s Cards cartridge bundle, which includes a 3-piece tool kit.

Cricut included everything you would expect from an Anna Griffin cartridge. They both also have some great phrases included, so if you have the Cricut Explore machine, you can have it write them out. Honestly, this is my favorite feature of Explore machines. I don’t like to write on my cards; I want them to look neat and professional. Stamps often just don’t say enough, so I enjoy that my Cricut machine will write it for me.

4th of July Cricut Cartridge Ideas

by Richelle Naegle
Cricut 4th of july layout finished project
It’s that time of year again! Your days will soon be filled with BBQs, picnics, parades, fireworks, and family! So today, to follow that theme, I have created a fun and easy scrapbook layout. As always, I set out to make it detailed without spending too much time on the project. Like many, I take too many pictures to create extravagant scrapbook layouts for every album page. That doesn’t mean they can’t look really nice. So I came up with this layout, and it would be super easy to add a second 12 x 12 page to this layout and have it match.

Creating the Layout

You need the right scrapbook material. The right patterned cardstock will make all the difference. The first thing I did was grab the Freedom paper pack by the artists at Bazzill. This stack has 22 sheets of paper. 12 of them are double-sided printed paper, and the others are bright and bold colors of red and blue with some white. You need to create lots of layouts for the 4th of July.
