Here are several Cricut Suburbia projects I’ve put into place over the last few years. It’s an old cartridge, but the Cricut Explore Air and Air 2 will work just fine!
Dinner Invitation
So for today’s project, I made this dinner party invitation. When I saw this dish I thought of having dinner at my grandma’s house when I was a kid. She had some dinnerware similar to this design. So I thought it would make a fun invitation to a dinner party. I made this sort of large so that you could have enough space on the back to write your invitation and details of the party. It’s cut out from the Suburbia Cricut cartridge (of course) at 5″ and dinner party was cut out with the same cartridge at 1″ using the housewife font. Then used the Girls Best Friend Sparkle Lightz to give it some fun bling.
Well, I hope you enjoyed and been inspired by this fun cartridge by Cricut.
Juke Box and Celebrate Card
With the Suburbia Cricut cartridge, you can create fun scenes very easily. With a lot of women and men in different poses, it’s easy to find a couple that go together.
For this one I cut the Jukebox out at 3″ and both of the people are cut out at 4″. I used pop dots to make the jukebox stand out more and it also makes it easier to make them appear to be leaning on or against the jukebox.
And I was having so much fun that I made another card with my favorite Cricut materials.
For this card, I also used 3 Birds – Life’s A Party cartridge and used one of the card features. The card is cut out at 5″ and the lady is cut out from Suburbia of course at 3″. This card was super easy to make with my Cricut machine.
Birthday Card
This fun card is made with the Suburbia Cricut cartridge the overall size of the card is 4 x 6 and the little girl is cut out at 3″ and used the Zva Creative Delightful – Lime Pearl on the side for the flower.
These pearls are so easy to use, they come on a clear sheet so you can see how it’s going to look before you place it, then you just peel it off (all as one item) and place on your project. Then if it goes over the edges like this one did you can just easily trim off the extra pearls. If you have a lot you can use for another project. Super easy to do.
“Attitude”
This card from the Suburbia Cricut cartridge is fun. One of my favorite images on this cartridge is this fun poodle. I just think she is so cute. 🙂
The overall size of the card is 4 x 6 and the poodle is cut out at 3″ and attitude is cut out at 1″ Instead of the dot on the I in attitude I used the Uptown Girl Sparkle Lightz for the dot, a little bit of ribbon and that’s it.
