It’s been a while since I have had the chance to craft, and there have been so many new craft products released that I have been dying to try. I am starting this week with a couple scrapbook pages and some super simple cards with the help of a couple of the Doodlebug Design collections. In both projects, I went with scrapbook kits. These are my favorite solutions for creating paper projects because, in one convenient pack, you get everything you need.
So What Did I Make?
The first one I dove into was the So Much Pun Collection Kit. If you have the So Punny collection, this kit will make a great compliment to it. Instead of food-related puns, it has a bunch of animal images and with puns to match.
I started with the layout featured in the first image of this post because scrapbooking is my true crafting love. If your little boy is into dinosaurs, this scrapbook page was super easy to create. I also used the We R Memory Keepers Happy Jig tool to make the adorable wire dinosaur. If you have one of these tools or are thinking of getting one, I suggest you follow @werhappyjig on Instagram. They create and post lots of creative shapes that you can make with the Happy Jig. It’s a great account to follow for inspiration.
From the same So Much Pun collection, I also made three easy cards. They are all fun ways to tell someone how much you love them. These Lava and the Otter cards were created just using one of the small cardstock elements, so they went together super quick!
The I Love You a Sloth card was made using the Icon Stickers set from So Much Pun (keep in mind there are four different sets of Icons Stickers). The collection includes:
