Jolly Holidays Cricut Cartridge Ideas

santa's little helper layout jolly holidays by Richelle Naegle

In preparation for the Christmas season, I haven’t had much time to craft. Today I found a little bit of time to create and decided to make a fun scrapbook layout. I was searching high and low for the right images when I found these cute little elves. They grabbed my attention because my friend’s little was telling me a story yesterday, about how he is, in fact, Santa’s helper elf and his job is to ensure that everyone (even naughty boys) gets a gift for Christmas.

What a sweet little boy! I just had to make him his very own elf layout so he can always remember his fun adventures being Santa’s helper.

Elf Layouts

The elf shapes come from the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge. The phrase Santa’s Helper is from the Create a Friend Cricut cartridge. The elf sizes are as follows: the one on the rocking horse is 6.2″, the one with the lights is 5.42″ and the one with the wagon is 5.9″. Santa’s Helper is cut out at 3.45″.

We have lots of different Christmas Cricut cartridges to choose from, so if you don’t have Jolly Holidays, you can find it here or go with a substitute.

I added a bunch of photo box sizes around the pages for variety in photo dimensions. To help give the page a little extra bling, I used Tim Holtz Ice Stickles from Ranger in Christmas Red & Diamond (on the snow, the balls of the elves hats, etc.). The paper stack is from the Doodlebug Sugarplums collection.

This layout was super easy but did take some time to cut everything out and glue it all together. I love how it turned out and I can’t wait to see his cute little pictures on display. This cartridge has been out for quite some time, but it’s new to us. It used to be an exclusive cartridge, so if you haven’t had a chance to get a hold of this one yet, you may want to grab it while you still can. This cartridge won’t last very long.

If you do have it I would love to see what you have created share your Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge ideas with me on our on Facebook. I can’t wait to see what you have created. Don’t forget to save on Christmas scrapbook paper while you’re here.

Happy Christmas creating!
