Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? Do you have all your cards made and ready to go? I sure don’t. However, with Valentine’s only 3 days away, if you need a quick card this one is perfect. This greeting card was created using the Garden Soup Cricut cartridge. Not a cartridge I would generally pick up when making Valentine’s card, but it works perfectly. That kind of successful spontaneity is what makes crafting so much fun! Cricut products have so much versatility it’s easy to flip the script and come up with great results.
For this card the base of the card is 6” x 6” and the inner layer is 5.5” x 5.5”. The image was cut out at 5”. Super easy and quick valentines card. I did a lot of faux stitching around it; you wouldn’t have to do all the stitching if you were short on time, add a little bit of ribbon and you’re done.
I love it when you can take a simple image like this love you and turn it into a masterpiece that anyone would love to get without adding a lot of work to it or having to spend hours making one card.
