Kiss the Cupcake Baker

Have you tried the heat transfer material yet? If not you will defiantly want to give it a try. This iron-on material is super easy to use and can turn any ordinary item into your own designer craft item :).

So to start this week we have this great cake apron. We used a Cricut Cake Apron and some of the iron-on vinyl and this is what we came up with.

It is super cute! And with the Iron-On material, you can transform your apron into any kind of cook you want. Would be super cute for a cookie maker, or anyone who spends time cooking in the kitchen! So for the details

“Kiss” is from Tie the Knot at 3″

“The cupcake baker” is from Learning Curve at 1″

The cupcake is from Create a Critter cartridge at 4″. And just an FYI adding the different colors of Iron-On over the top is super easy and not that much different than layering paper.

Each package of Iron-On Material comes with instructions but here are few helpful tips  to remember:

  • Your machine needs to do a “kiss cut” Either a 2 or 3 on the pressure
  • Place your material on your mat dull side up (shiny side down).
  • Make sure to Mirror image your images

Wedding Card

This beautiful card was made using the Cricut Tie the Knot Cartridge. Obviously it is one of the most popular cartridges to use for making wedding cards. It has so many beautiful wedding-themed images on it, you are sure to find just the right image for any wedding.

The overall size of the card is 5 x 5 inches and the bird is cut out at 3.5” and “Tie the Knot” at  1.5”. The background and the bird are embossed using the tiny heart embossing folder.

A super easy and quick card that you could make at the last minute. Please share your Cricut Tie the Knot cartridge projects with us on our Facebook page.
