Belly Box Reindeer Project – Lori Whitlock – Silhouette Design

by Richelle NaegleLori Whitlock Reindeer treat box

Are you ready for Christmas, yet? I’m definitely not. I still have so much to do. One of my checklist items was to make gifts for my kids’ teachers, neighbors, and a few others. Inspired by Aaron’s free download Reindeer card, I decided to apply that same idea in making a treat box. I made two of them and they are the perfect size for fitting cookies and other treats. If you give a gift card in a treat box, I like the way you can slip the card in, with the treats holding it up. It’s a nice, eye-catching effect.

Making the Treat Box

This cute Belly Box Reindeer project is designed by Lori Whitlock, and you can get it at the Silhouette store. If you do purchase images from Silhouette, you can save quite a bit of money by getting one of our Silhouette digital download cards. I am usually patient and wait for them to have an image sale, and that way you can stretch the money even further.

Using the CAMEO 3, I cut the length, width, and height of the overall design at 3.5″ x 2.75″ x 6″ (from the top of the antlers to the bottom of the box). I added some fun faux stitching and since it is Rudolph, he needs a shiny red nose. I used Tim Holtz ice stickles in Christmas Red to make his nose. This was a pretty quick project and I loved the way it turned out. I highly recommend it.
