Autumn Celebrations Cricut Cartridge Ideas

by Richelle Naegle

Fall is officially here, and in southern Utah, the leaves are already starting to change colors. The Autumn Basket CGull embossing folder is one of my favorites. I just love the simplicity of it, and how the image is just in the bottom corner leaving you room for a simple sentiment at the top or in this case I added a few falling colored leaves.

Using a Folder with a Cutting Machine

The folder is 5″ x 7″ so the card is 5″ x 7″. I used one of the Cut’N’Boss machines but you could use whichever embossing machine you have. These folders will work with most embossing machines. Next, using the Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink to go around the edge of the card as well as lightly over the embossed image, I added some fun dimension. The card would look great and finished if you just wanted to leave it this way. However, I wanted to add a little bit more so I used the Autumn Celebrations Cricut cartridge for the falling leaves. The leaves are part of the acorn image. The larger one was cut out at 1.5″ and two smaller ones at 1″. Then I added a little bit of green craft rope around it.

It was a super easy and fun card! Do you create fall-themed cards or scrapbook layouts, using the Autumn Celebrations Cricut cartridge Ideas? With Cricutyou can make regular Cricut paper into a work of art. I would love to see your projects on the Paper Crafting Fanatic’s Google page. Let’s get some fun inspiration going 🙂

You will want to check out the Explore Air 2, which has all the features of the original Explore Air, but it cuts twice as fast.

Happy fall creating!
