Well, it’s time for another themed Cricut cartridge creation. With the summer quickly coming to an end my kids want to spend as much time as they can play at the pool. Anything to make them happy, so we have been spending a couple of nights a week at the pool. This results in countless water fights in the back yard, so much fun. So I wanted to make a fun swimming page and that catchy song from Finding Nemo kept running through my head. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming! So I was planning to do the fun little Nemo fish but decided to go with Squirt the little turtle when I saw him. He is so darn cute so I changed my mind. I think this layout turned out swimmingly!

For this 12″ x 12″ Cricut layout I used the Disney Best of Pixar cartridge to cut out the turtles, the top one was cut out at 3″ and the bottom one in the corner was cardstock cut out at 4.25″.  The photo boxes consist of two 4″ x 4″ squares and the larger one for a 4″ x 6″ photo. The waves are from the Cake Everyday Sampler Cartridge. Who would have thought these fun waves would come off a cake cartridge?  Anyway, they were cut out at 1.25″ for the 4″ x 4″ squares and 2″ for the 4″ x 6″ one. You will need to trim them down just a little to make them the correct length. Just keep swimming is from the Four-Legged Friends cartridge. If you don’t have this one, just make the letters using your favorite font cartridge.
